Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Riserva — white
2024
A deep white, after the long work of the wood.
Vernaccia shows what it is capable of when given time.
THE VINEYARD
Where the Riserva comes from.
The San Biagio vineyard is the historic reference for the white selection. Pliocene soils: yellow sands and clays at the surface, compact blue clays at depth. From those cool clays Vernaccia draws the minerality to carry the long aging.
Hand harvest, pure-variety fruit, aging in oak casks for the period each vintage calls for.
HISTORICAL SEAL
